The Big News!

                Dear Everyone:

So it turns out that I was a little burned out with the million posts I posted at the beginning of July. I just had a lot of adventures from that weekend previous to the 4th of July that I wanted to post before I divulged my not very well kept secret...but alas...I'll share it now!

I'm engaged!

It is one of the most romantic {amazing} proposals anyone could ever dream of. It took place in front of the Washington Monument...

while watching fireworks...

on the 4th of July at our nation's capital!

It was perfect

Confession: I knew he was going to propose beforehand that evening, Jamison left his phone on the blanket and Hudson happened to have sent a text talking about the proposal that evening...for some reason I know all of Jamison's surprises! But I loved it nonetheless.

Hudson supposedly took video of the proposal, but it didn't work. But the video he took after the proposal worked!

Jamison and I are getting married on October 8th in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple!

                              Hugs, kisses and now a ring,

auburn

Makes My Heart Melt...

Although my birthday was yesterday, {I'm now 20!!!} my sister Savanna and my niece Jade made a little video for my birthday! And it was adorable! This was the post that they put on the Gunn blog yesterday and I wanted to remember this forever!

Happy Birthday Auburn!

We wish you were here so we could take you to Italian Village for your birthday but since you are so far away, this little video will have to suffice. We hope you enjoy it.

Hope you have a great birthday. We love you and are thinking of you.

Love, Aaron, Savanna, Jade and Dahlie

See? Didn't that make your heart melt? It made mine!

Yesterday was a wonderful birthday with many renditions of Happy Birthday from both my family and the Garner's, an awesome package from home full of goodies, Hudson took me to lunch at Panda Express and Jamison did a scavenger hunt in the evening to determine where he was taking me out to dinner, which ended up being at the Towson Diner. All of the techs in the office made sure to wish me a happy birthday {I think Hudson put them up to it} and even one of the service techs, David, bought me cookies! It was a great birthday!

The Chocolate Wrap Up

Thanks again for taking us to Chocolate World! This is one experience that I hope to never forget anytime soon!

Chocolate 3D Movie?

Yes please!

This is a movie that I probably wouldn't have paid to see for myself, but since Jan offered to pay....we decided to see it! {Again...thanks Jan!}

They promise that these glasses are cleaned...but according to the spots on the glasses...don't know if I believe them!

The video was really neat and super interactive...there were raindrops coming from the ceiling, bubbles, hoses under our seats that would whip our legs {scaring the crap out of me}, being able to smell chocolate, and many other cool things. Definitely an 'interactive' experience!

Speaking of Kisses...

....biggest Hershey Kiss ever!

This wasn't the only mega size thing we found in the most amazing Chocolate gift shop ever..we also found....

5 whole pounds chocolate bar! As you can tell from my face...I was quite scared there was such a thing! {Secretly...I want it though...} This one I found even more heavenly...and still quite disturbing...

1 pound Reeses Peanut Butter Cups! Jamison I think was simply in heaven with the thought of a whole pound of peanut buttery amazingness.

Jamison in the land of Reeses world...this happens to be his infamous 'geeking' out face. {The woman's face next to him is pretty funny...}

You can interpret this picture as "mmm! I want to eat all of this chocolate!!!" or "oh my gosh I think I am going to be sick!" Just so you know it was "I am so happy!"

Chocolate World is amazing!

And yes, Jamison and I indulged ourselves and bought ourselves some Reeses, and I had to buy a chocolate bar....Hey, don't judge...we got it 25% off because Jan worked here. {Thanks Jan!!}

And I think you should be jealous....it was fresh chocolate...not the chocolate on the shelves of a supermarket that is at least a year old...mine was made within the week...yummy!!

Welcome to Hershey!

You know you are in Hershey Pennyslvania when all the street lamps...

are Hershey Kisses! Now how is that for creativity and adorableness?

Love it!

Adventure: Hershey, Pennsylvania!

On Friday I had the afternoon off from work since I worked the morning shift for Mikaela so Jamison called up his Aunt Jan who lived in Pennsylvania to see if we could stop by and visit for the evening. They loved the idea of us coming to visit, and even offered to let us stay the night! So Jamison and I packed our bags and headed to Pennsylvania. If you haven't travelled in Pennsylvania before, the scenery is absolutely gorgeous! Aunt Jan lived in the country so it was out of the way from major cities and a nice way to take a break and relax!

I had met Aunt Jan and her son Andrew before so it wasn't 'nerve racking' to meet the extended family like it usually would be. During this trip however, I finally met Uncle Stan, and I really like him!{He also has the most amazing sports collection I have ever seen...it is legit!} They are an amazing family, it was nice to finally be around family again and to just have that feeling again. {Alhough they aren't technically my family}.

Aunt Jan happens to work in Hershey, Pennsylvania, the home of Hershey chocolates! So the next morning the family 'treated' us and took us to see Chocolate World.

I loved it here in Chocolate World, and the smell of melted chocolate was heaven! So for the next few posts these are our experiences in Chocolate World!
